The main screen
- Top row. The app name, the battery readout if you turned it on, and the settings button. See The top row.
- The three buttons. Videos, Alerts and TTS. See The three buttons.
- Video tiles. One for each channel, two across when the phone is upright. See Video tiles.
- Chat tabs. Events, All, then one for each channel. They scroll sideways when there are more than fit. See The tabs.
- Chat. Each line has the platform logo, time, badges, name and message. See A chat line.
The top row
The name Dual IRL Bro is on the left. On the right are the battery readout, if you turned it on, and the button, which opens Settings. The battery readout is explained under Battery readout.
The three buttons
Under the top row are three round-ended buttons. A lavender button means that feature is on. A grey one means it is off. Your choices are remembered when you close the app.

Tap and press-and-hold at a glance
“Press and hold” means keep your finger on the button for about a second. They work the same upright and sideways.
| Button | Tap | Press and hold |
|---|---|---|
| Videos | Shows or hides all the video tiles. Hidden means chat only, and no video is loaded. | Nothing different. |
| Alerts | Mutes or unmutes all your alert and read-out web pages at once. | Opens Alert sources, a list where you switch each one on or off. |
| TTS | Turns reading chat aloud on or off. | Opens the Read aloud options. |
Videos
Videos is on to start with. Turn it off to save data and battery when you only want chat. Videos does not change which channels you monitor.
Alerts
Tap to mute or unmute every audio page. Muting stops them from playing, and each page’s own on and off switch is left as it was.
Press and hold to open Alert sources. It lists every audio page you have added, with a switch for each. This is the same list as Settings → Audio sources, so a change in one shows in the other. If you have none yet, it says No audio sources configured yet. Add one from Settings → Audio sources. Swipe down or tap outside to close it.
Audio pages are things like the alert box or text-to-speech page from your streaming tools. They play out of your phone while you monitor. Subs, gifts and raids from your channels are not controlled by this button. They are on the Events tab in chat.
TTS
Tap to turn read-aloud on or off. When on, Bro speaks new chat messages from all your channels, whichever tab you are looking at.
Press and hold to open the Read aloud options: who is announced, what is skipped, banned words and the voice. They are the same options as in Settings → Channel settings, and a change in one shows in the other. Swipe down or tap outside to close it.
All the options are explained in Read aloud.
Video tiles
Tiles are always muted and cannot be unmuted. Each tile shows:
- Bottom left
- The platform logo and the channel name.
- Top left, while live
- A red dot, then viewers and uptime, such as ● 1,234 watching · 1:23:45. If neither number is known it says ● live. Rumble adds a second row with 👍 likes, 👎 dislikes, 👥 followers and 💎 subscribers when it has them. Kick, Twitch and Rumble supply viewers and uptime. YouTube shows them only if you added a YouTube key.
- Small bars beside the name
- A level meter that shows the stream still has sound. It goes dim when the stream is silent and disappears when the tile is not playing.
- In the middle
- Connecting… while it waits for the first answer. Offline when the channel is not live. Can’t play — tap to retry when playback failed, and tapping it tries again.
Bro checks each channel about every 30 seconds while the main screen is open. Tiles pause when you leave the app and jump back to live when you return. Tapping or pressing and holding a tile does nothing else. For a tile that stays blank, see Troubleshooting.
The back button
On a Settings screen, back goes up one level. On the main screen, back leaves the app.
