Android · Cloud Streaming control

Your Cloud Streaming,
in your pocket.

Dual IRL Control is an Android app for your Dual IRL account's Cloud Streaming. Start and stop your server and your stream, copy your Ingest connection details, manage your extra Ingests, Destinations and Anti-Drop, and drive your studio's OBS scenes and overlays, all from your phone.

Your server. Your stream. Your Control.

What it does

A control panel for your cloud stream

Everything here works with a Dual IRL account that has Cloud Streaming. Cloud Streaming is in Closed Beta, and which sections you see depends on what your Cloud Streaming plan includes. An account without access links fine and is told so.

🔗

Link your Dual IRL account

Approve this phone from your account on dualirl.app with a short code, and unlink it whenever you like. Control uses that link only for your account details and its Cloud Streaming.

⏻

Start and stop from anywhere

Start the server, start the stream, stop the stream and shut the server down. Stopping asks first, and a control that isn't available right now is greyed out with the reason under it.

📡

Your Ingest, one tap away

Show your Ingest's connection details only when you ask, with the password hidden until you reveal it, and copy the SRT, SRTLA, RTMP or RTMPS address. Open in Dual IRL Stream hands the link to the Stream app, which asks before it saves anything.

🩺

Preflight and a live bitrate line

See whether your ingest and your program are receiving, with their bitrate and tracks, plus the last 60 seconds of your ingest bitrate with your Anti-Drop thresholds marked. Show Program preview plays a muted look at your studio's output, only when you tap it.

🎯

Destinations

Set up and edit the places your program is sent, with a maximum bitrate and a choice of codec for each, and see each destination's state at a glance.

🛡️

Anti-Drop settings

Tune when your stream switches to the fallback and when it comes back: the low and offline bitrates, the round-trip time, the retry attempts and an output bitrate cap.

🎬

OBS Remote and Overlays

Switch scenes in your studio's OBS, and show, hide, reorder, mute, add, edit and remove browser-source overlays, with a preview of the Overlays scene. Control connects by itself while the Control tab is open and the studio is ready, and reconnects after a drop.

🔄

Easy to update

Control checks for a newer build and tells you. It never downloads or installs anything itself. Check anytime from Settings, or turn on checking automatically at launch.

🪶

Light on permissions

No camera, no microphone and no location. Control only needs a network connection to reach your Dual IRL account and your studio.

Control manages your cloud side. Stream your phone with Dual IRL Stream, or send from OBS or a backpack encoder, and keep an eye on the result with Dual IRL Bro. Each Dual IRL app stands on its own.
