The map is blacked out around this point so you never broadcast from home. It is stored and compared in your browser only — never sent anywhere, never drawn on the map. Until it's set, the overlay shows nothing.
Inside this radius of home, the whole map is hidden. Minimum 150 m. The map only appears once you're comfortably outside it (the blackout is padded by the visible map size, so it's a bit larger than this number in practice).
Best when the overlay runs on the same device as your GPS. Use fixed coordinates only for testing or a browser that blocks location.

The overlay never goes past this, and never past 16 — so it can't drop to house level.
If GPS goes quiet longer than this, the map hides (fail-safe). Max 600.
Off = north-up. On = the map turns so you always face “up” (needs a live GPS heading, so the preview below can’t show the rotation).
Debug readout shows a small label with why the map is hidden (no fix yet / inside your home blackout / location permission denied / stale) — useful when it’s blank in the app or a browser. It draws on the overlay, so turn it off before going live.
Your overlay URL
⚠️ This URL contains your home point — treat the whole thing like a password. Don't paste it in public, don't share your OBS scene collection, and don't screen-share the OBS dock.
Paste this into a browser source in OBS (or your streaming app). Set the source size to match
the map size. Everything — including your home point — rides in the URL's # fragment, which
browsers never send to a server, so your coordinates stay out of access logs.
The preview shows a sample location in your chosen style, so you can see the shape, size, and position even while you're at home — it never uses your real home or GPS. Test the real blackout / live tracking on your device with the copied URL.
