The rotator plays your channel’s clips in a shuffled loop. Each clip plays once before any clip plays again. You choose which clips play by category and by a minimum number of views, and you can leave out any clip you never want to see. It reads your public clips and never posts. It is made for a BRB scene that you switch to yourself, and the scene shows only the clip video.
In the builder
- Platform
- Kick or Twitch. The start is Kick.
- Channel name
- Just the name of your channel. The box under Your overlay URL stays empty, with a warning, until you have added it.
- Categories
- Names separated by commas, for example IRL, Just Chatting. A clip plays when its category matches one of them, ignoring upper and lower case. On Kick a clip also plays when the group its category sits in matches, such as IRL. Blank plays every category. Up to 30 names. A name that matches none of your clips leaves nothing to play. The ⓘ button opens the full note.
- Minimum views
- Clips with fewer views are left out. 0 leaves no clip out.
- Clips to skip
- Paste clip links or clip ids, separated by commas. These clips never play, whatever the other settings say. Up to 200 clips. An entry that is neither a clip id nor a link that holds one is left out of the link the builder makes.
- Play the clips without sound
- Off by default, so the clips’ own sound reaches your stream. Turn it on to play them muted.
The preview at the top plays your real clips with their sound, unless Play the clips without sound is on. It starts once your channel name is filled in. If your browser holds the sound back until you click, click once in the preview. Copy URL copies the link, and Open opens the overlay in a new tab. Paste the link into a browser source in OBS or your streaming app. It reads your clips again every 30 minutes, so new clips join the loop. Everything in the link is after the #, which browsers never send to a server. See the Privacy page for what Dual IRL collects, and Add a tool to OBS for the browser source.
The raw page
Open dualirl.com/tools/clips.html with no channel and it plays nothing. A short how-to panel at the bottom right tells you to build the link with the builder.
